Microcurrent

Microcurrent therapy uses very low electrical currents (microcurrents) to treat various health problems. At the cellular level, this therapy stimulates a dramatic increase in ATP, the energy that fuels all biochemical functions in the body. It also bumps up protein synthesis, which is necessary for tissue repair. The ensuing enhancement in blood flow and decrease in inflammation translates into reductions in pain and muscle spasms and increased range of motion.  Commonly treated conditions that respond well to microcurrent are muscle and nerve pain, inflamation, tendon and ligament injuries and fibromyalgia. Microcurrent is also used as part of our facial rejuvenation treatment and for Bell's Palsy.  It can also be helpful with anxiety and insomnia. New research is showing microcurrent to be helpful in treating macular degeneration.

When NFL player Terrell Owens sustained a fractured fibula and severely strained ankle six weeks prior to the 2005 Super Bowl, everyone assumed his season was over. Such injuries generally require 13 to 18 weeks to heal, and everyone assumed Owens would miss the Super Bowl. Terrell credits his ability to play to microcurrent and other integrative therapies he underwent. Microcurrent therapy is rapidly becoming a favorite of professional athletes and sports teams as well as weekend warriors.

Microcurrent review
West Nile Virus
I've been using Microcurrent Therapy for almost a year. It has changed my life. I contracted West Nile Virus in 2004 and have been recovering since then. The virus almost killed me and destroyed my immune system in many different ways. For the last six years I've tried many treatments but this has given me my energy back and treated me on a cellular level which I believe kills the virus. This form of treatment was recommended for my wrinkles and my skin looks really good for a sun worshipper at the age of 56. But the real miracle is how I feel after six years of struggling to have some quality of life again.
